Tenkiller Women In The Outdoors is an annual event sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation and held the first weekend of November in Vian, OK and Tenkiller State Park.

This is a women's only event where ladies come and take classes on topics centered around the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and Native arts and crafts. We offer around 40 classes to choose from including a mentored deer hunt where you can partner one on one with a mentor who teaches you the basics of hunting and then takes you on a hunt. Other classes offered include blacksmithing, Dutch oven cooking, basket weaving, fly fishing, beaded earrings, lye soap, foraging, wilderness survival skills, turkey hunting 101, and many more!

We love that our event is a safe, judgment free space for women to gather, meet new like-minded people, and learn or practice a new skill. It's a wonderful event and we hope you join us this fall!
