How To: Update Customer Information

When you log into your customer account, you will see all the information that you entered when you initially created your customer account. Please review all the information to ensure that everything is correct.
  • Update/Edit Information: If your customer account information is not correct, you can go ahead and make the necessary changes to your customer account by clicking on the 'Update Profile' button on the main profile page.

  • Update My Residency: From the 'update profile' button, users will be taken to a page where they can edit their current residency status.

  • Certify Information: If all your information is accurate, you will need to certify by clicking I certify that my residency status and all other information below is correct. After you certify that your information is correct, you can proceed to purchasing or replacing licenses by clicking Purchase/Replace a License/Permits.

  • License History: If you have purchased licenses, permits, or passes, you can see a list of all of them by clicking on License History.`

Will a digital copy of my license be sufficient to provide to an ODWC Law Enforcement Officer?
  • Digital copies generated through the ODWC app or through the GoOutdoorsOklahoma.com sites are the only digital copies that are acceptable by ODWC Law Enforcement.
    • Desktop: Go License.GoOutdoorsOklahoma.com, enter your personal identifiers to log in, and select “Show Licenses History” on the customer profile page to view, print or renew your licenses.
    • Mobile Device: you may download ODWC’s Fish/Hunt App at any time and ‘Sync’ your license(s) to your phone. Simply search “GoOutdoorsOK” in your app store to download it.

Why have I not received my license in the mail?

  • Unless you have purchased the credit-card style hard card (optional) or a lifetime license, your license will ONLY be emailed to you, paper licenses are no longer be mailed by ODWC.
  • If you have provided a valid, non-blocked, email address, a PDF copy of your current license will be emailed to you directly after purchasing online. It will also be posted to your account online, and available to reprint at any time. If you are successful in a limited entry/quota drawing and you have provided a valid, non-blocked, email address, your non-transferable quota permit will be emailed to you, as well as posted to your record online.
  • License reprints are available at no-cost by accessing your licenses and permits through your online account at License.GoOutdoorsOklahoma.com. A paper copy of your license is still obtainable from local retail agent location at a cost of $1.50. (Click Here to Locate Dealer)

Why did I receive an emailed copy of my license?

If you have provided a valid, non-blocked, email address, a PDF copy of your current license will be emailed to you directly after purchasing online. It will also be posted to your account online. If you are successful in a limited entry/quota drawing and you have provided a valid, non-blocked, email address, your non-transferrable quota permit will be emailed to you as well as posted to your record online.

How can I access my current licenses?

  • Paper Copy: ODWC will not send a "paper copy" of your recreational hunting or fishing license.
    • To print your license (at no-cost) from the convenience of your own home, log into your customer profile at License.GoOutdoorsOklahoma.com and click “Reprint Licenses” on the main page.
    • Paper licenses can also be obtained from a local retail location (find local agent locations here) at a cost of $1.50 per reprint. Mobile App: If you own a smart phone or a tablet, you may download ODWC’s Fish/Hunt App at any time and ‘Sync’ your license(s) to your phone. Simply search “GoOutdoorsOK” in your app store to download it.
  • Email: If you have provided a valid, non-blocked, email address, a PDF copy of your current license will be emailed directly after purchasing online. It will also be posted to your account online, and available to reprint (no-cost) at any time.

How do I create a new Customer Account?
Before creating a new customer account, you must first confirm that the Customer does not have an existing account in the new Oklahoma licensing system to avoid creating duplicate accounts

Perform a search using the Customer’s First Name, Last Name, and DOB. If any results are returned, ask the Customer to verify additional information such as last 4 of the SSN, City, or Middle Name to confirm that no existing accounts are attributable to the Customer. If there are no previous accounts attributable to the Customer, continue by clicking the “Create Account (Admin)” button.

What is a Customer ID and where is my old License Number?
Customers no longer have to worry about remembering their license number! With the new licensing system, customers can easily access their customer records by simply using commonly known personal identifiers such as last 4 of SSN.

All existing and new customers are assigned a unique Customer ID, which can also be used to look up customer accounts. The Customer Profile will house all pertinent information and historical records of the Customer.

Why can’t I input the entire 9-digit Social Security Number?
The new Oklahoma licensing system only uses the last 4 of the customer’s Social Security Number to help alleviate Customer concerns about security of their personal information.

The “Print Licenses” button is not available on the Customer Profile?
The Print Licenses button is only available if the customer has a valid / active license. will not be available to Customers that do not have any valid licenses.

I am clicking the “Print Licenses” button and nothing is happening?
Check to make sure that the pop-up blocker on the web browser is set to allow pop-ups from gooutdoorsoklahoma.com. Once the pop-up blocker is turned off, try again!

Is Auto Renew required?
No, customers do not have to use the Auto Renew feature. The Auto Renew feature can be turned off or on at any time. Simply navigate to the Auto Renew Settings on the Customer’s Profile.
