This workshop is scheduled to train new and existing guides for the Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program. The OYHP is a nonprofit organization that serves Oklahoma's youth by mentoring 10-17 year olds that have a desire to enjoy the outdoors through the sport of hunting. It is aimed at youth who do not have an experienced parent or other mentor to take them. If selected, the young hunter and their families are invited to participate in one of several hunting camps scheduled across the state for Youth Deer Gun Season, October 20-22.

They are looking for people to guide, cook, process, teach outdoor skills, set camp and more. If you have one or all of these skills and want to help to pass on the heritage, please register at: Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program (oyhp.org) The actual location will be given after registration.
