Pre-registration required, MUST HAVE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS to register. 

Join us for a FREE fishing clinic at OG&E River Valley Power Plant on Friday, June 3 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Lunch will be provided by OG&E.

Participants of any age are welcome and all who participate in the event are exempt from a fishing license while fishing at the clinic. Rods, reels and tackle will be provided to participants to use during the clinic. Fishing will be primarily for sunfish, bass and catfish.

The clinic will be held within the OG&E River Valley Power Plant. Participants must read and follow the protocols below in order to attend the event:
  1. Driver of vehicle entering the complex will need to present a valid drivers license at the security checkpoint prior to entry. Entrance to plant is off of Aes Rd and E1250 Rd.
  2. Liability release forms will be available to sign at the security checkpoint day of event. 
  3. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.
  4. Photos and video will be taken during the event, by registering you are giving authorization for use of photos from the event.
  5. If event is canceled due to severe weather or forecast for severe weather, an email will be sent the day before the event. Please check your email to ensure the event is still taking place.
  6. Recommended items to bring (fold up chair for each participant, sun screen, sun glasses and hat).
  7. All equipment and bait will be provided by the ODWC.
